Although this project was a bit of a learning curve for me and I struggled with using and navigating the different Adobe applications, when it came to the end I was pretty happy with the outcome of my video. My main issue was I had trouble getting my animation to move smoothly and look realistic while using After Effects. I was struggling with getting my animation to move fluidly back and forth and I also had issues with using the pins to make the different parts of my guy's body move. Another problem I had when putting the video together was importing everything into Premiere and lining up the videos properly to make the video stitch together smoothly. Putting in audio at specific points throughout the video and making sure they fit well with the video visuals was also a huge challenge. Despite the difficulties of this animation project, I learned that this is something I enjoy doing. I would say that this has probably been my favorite part of the class because it pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to learn a new skill. I particularly enjoyed being able to create these videos using clips and images from my life and turning them into something completely different. For example, in the video I made I included clips from ski trips that I have been on this past semester with some of my good friends. Being able to share this video with the people who are in it made for good laughs and lots of reminiscing.
