After hearing about the project description and seeing some examples of previous students webventures in class, I was excited for different directions I could explore and take my project. Ultimately I am pleased with the outcome of my final project. At first I wasn’t sure what type of project or storyline I wanted to make because I had seen the wide variety of the previous student projects. I finally decided I was going to stick with my theme of the previous projects and my love for surfing and the ocean. I also love the mountains so I thought it would be fun to make my story about choosing between the ocean and the mountains.
Although I already knew how to use photoshop, learning to make the GIFs was super fun. Since I was a kid I have always seen GIFs online in different places so I thought it was really cool that we were learning how to make our own. I like how you can put whatever you want into a GIF and make it do whatever you can think of. I made 5 GIFs total and I am proud of each one of them. I will definitely be using this new skill in the future to make more fun GIFs.
I think my webventure was faster to click through than other peoples because my pages are mainly all images and have minimal words on them. That being said, I think it's a fun story progression and I look forward to showing my friends what I made.
