For my daydream video I had a few ideas on the direction my video could take. Throughout this winter season I have been spending a lot of time with my friends on the mountain at ski resorts either skiing or snowboarding. While we are on the mountain together we always end up going home with tons of video after filming each other all day going on jumps or through the trees. I have also collected a lot of footage from the multiple snow days that we have been having.
With all these video clips of snowboarding I realized I wanted to make a video incorporating these clips and I thought that I could use the animation portion of the video to create a super crazy, chaotic animated snowboarding edit.
My video will start with my real life snowboarding clips and then there will be a transition to my animations. I want the animation to incorporate a snowboarder going to different areas of the mountain and hitting different features like trees, jumps, and rails and boxes in the terrain park. I want the snowboarder to be doing crazy flips and twists and tricks, capturing all the things I dream of doing on the snowboard but am not able to yet.
The end of the video will cut back to me boarding on the mountain in real life, attempting some bigger tricks and jumps, but nothing compared to what my animation was doing.
